Taiwanese Language Romanization Guild

台灣語文羅馬拼音互助會 The Taiwanese Language Romanization Guild為美國俄亥俄州州政府立案的非營利組織。此會正式創立日期是二千空五年八月二十三日。

「Guild 互助會」的主旨，顧名思義，是為鼓勵此網頁的讀者，以謙遜的態度，互相認真學習，並徹底了解台灣母語現存的多種羅馬拼音系統 (如教羅、現代、TLPA、通用)，以免對拼音系統因一知半解，被各派系統擁護人士的私設迷宮所困惑。一個國家可有種國語，但是一種國語絕對不可有多種書寫系統。目前福佬語文拼音字的多種書寫系統，是二十年來，台灣推行母語過程中集思廣益，過渡性的需求；二十年後的今日，已經非整合不可。今後，咱有責任激勵自己認真學習，徹底了解，並且幫助教育部，完成母語拼音字整合的時代使命，以求進一步改革台灣學校長時墨守成規的語音教學。

"The Taiwanese Language Romanization Guild 台灣語文羅馬拼音互助會 " is an Ohio State-certified, non-profit organization.  Its effective date is August 23, 2005.

The word "Guild" means for the readers of this website to unassumingly help one another to understand the existing Romanization systems of Taiwanese Holo language (for example Church Roman, Modern Spelling System, TLPA, and Tong-yong), in order not to be kept in the dark owing to our own incomplete comprehension and be continually puzzled by the unilateral, self-centered promoters.  A nation can have different national languages, but each national language should not have multi-written systems. The transitional canvassing of various opinions in the past 20 years have resulted in the present multi- Taiwanese Romanization systems of Holo langauge.  Today, there is an urgent need to standardize the various systems.  We, therefore, must encourage ourselves to learn and understand the systems and to help the Ministry of Education in Taiwan standardize the Romanization spellings and embark on the reform of the incorrect phonological and phonetic teaching in schools.
